Ribhav, exhibiting good range of strokes, defeated sixth seed Devanand Mohan of Chennai 7-6(2 ) 7-5 in the boys final which lasted over 100 minutes while, Nikita got the better of the second seed Muskaan Ranjan 7-6(5) 6-4 in a baseline duel to take the honours in the girls competition.
This was Ribhav's second successive Under-18 final after the Mysore event and unlike the earlier occasion, it proved to a successful one for the youngster, a trainee of coach Niranjan Ramesh.
