In restricted activity, rice basmati prices fell up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale market on adequate stocks following increased arrivals from producing belts against reduced offtake by stockists.
However, other grains including wheat moved in a narrow range on scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position due to increased arrivals from producing belts mainly kept pressure on rice basmati prices.
