Traders said besides fresh buying by stockists, restricted arrivals from producing belts led to rise in rice basmati prices.
In the national capital, rice basmati common and Pusa-1121 variety moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-5,900 and Rs 4,600-5,800 per quintal, respectively.
