The pictures of the alleged party at the CHI hostel went viral on March 18.
CHI's Registrar Chandra Kant Tripathi said an eight-member committee constituted earlier had prima facie found nothing objectionable, but the details would be known only after interaction with the five students who are presently on holiday.
The registrar said the five students identified from the photos are foreign nationals.
The institute examinations begin from April 1, so they should be here a day or two before it.

Official sources said on the basis of pictures it cannot be proved whether the "pieces were those of beef". "Only forensic investigations can prove that, but there are no traces of the meat available."
A CHI official added that non-vegetarian food is not served in hostels.
The CHI, a premier institute under the Union HRD ministry for promoting and popularising Hindi globally, each year trains hundreds of foreign students who come to learn Hindi. There are 56 female students from different countries including China, and 16 male students at present.
