Ever since Rihanna and Brown have rekindled their romance Tran's fans have loathed the act and during a similar exchange of messages on image sharing site Instagram, Forde ended up calling Tran a "rice cake" which is mostly made in Asia, reported Daily Mail online.
Forde replied to a fan of Tran and defending Rihanna by writing, "You can be rice cake's friend I don't care but keep up all this disrespectful talk and while your fake profile is typing on instagram me Melissa T Forde will be the one knocking on your door asking you to come talk face to face."
Seeing the tension grow, Rihanna decided to tell her best friend to stop by writing on Twitter, "'Melissa T Forde! Stop it!."
Brown recently dumped Tran to get back with Rihanna.
