The black tie event will raise money for the 26-year-old star's charity, The Clara Lionel Foundation, which she set up in memory of her grandparents back in 2012, reported Digital Spy.
According to an official release on the foundation's website, Rihanna will also be performing at the gala, due to take place at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills on December 11.
"One of the greatest benefits of my job was being able to start the Clara Lionel Foundation in honour of my grandparents," Rihanna said in a statement.
Further guest performers are to be announced soon, and the event is expected to draw around 600 attendees.
