The 'We Found Love' hitmaker is a huge fan of the N-Dubz producer and has lined him up for her new record, reported Contactmusic.
"Rihanna's team heard his production on Tulisa's 'Young' and his new single 'Killer' and thought he'd be ideal for her album. He's got decent producing experience under his belt with all the N-Dubz material.
"Fazer's now knuckling down to the job and making tracks tailor-made for her. If her team are impressed, she'll record the vocals with him," a source said.
Other tracks on the album, which will be her seventh studio album, will be produced by Ne-Yo and Labrinth.
