Rijiju to attend international meet on terrorism in Bali

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju is leaving tonight for Indonesia to attend an international conference on terrorism.
Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju is leaving to attend the 'International Meeting on Counter Terrorism' to be held at Bali on August 10, an official statement said.
The theme of this multilateral meeting on counter- terrorism will be countering cross-border movement of terrorism which is one of the biggest challenges faced today by countries regarding perpetrators, weapons, ideology and financing.
This is first of its kind meeting being hosted by Indonesia which aims at strengthening the international cooperation network in addressing the growing threat of cross-border movement of terrorism from the aspects of actor, information and also financing. The release said.
Rijiju will also be meeting Minister for Political, Security and Legal Affairs, Indonesia, Wiranto and discuss with him various issues of bilateral importance.
