Copper prices on Thursday traded up by 0.67 per cent at Rs 443.75 per kg in futures market on the back of pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 2.95, or 0.67 per cent, at Rs 443.75 per kg in a business turnover of 2,366 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in February edged up by Rs 2.80, or 0.63 per cent, to Rs 447.55 per kg in 78 lots.
