Harris, 29, who has topped Forbes Magazine's World's Highest Paid Disc Jockey list, says his songs are not so appealing to Ora, 22, as she does not listens to dance numbers, reported Contactmusic.
"Rita doesn't like dance music. She doesn't really like my music, but I like hers. We're not together for musical reasons which is great," he said.
"We're trying to keep business and pleasure separate and she's not really into the idea (of a collaboration)," he added.
Harris broke several UK chart records with his hit album '18 Months'.
