Ghagra river in Siwan district of Bihar continued to flow in High Flood Situation, the Ministry of Water Resources said.
At 6 am, it was flowing at 61.42 m with rising trend, 0.6 m above its danger level of 60.82 m and 0.32 m below its previous Highest Flood Level (HFL) of 61.74 mts recorded on August 29, 1998, a ministry statement said here.
At Gangpur in Siwan, the river was flowing at a level of 57.85 m with rising trend, 0.81 m above its Danger Level of 57.04 m and 0.16 m below its previous HFL of 58.01 m recorded on September 18, 1983.
It was flowing at 104.73 m with falling trend, 0.11 m above its Danger Level of 104.62 m and 0.52 m below its previous HFL of 105.25 m recorded on September 11, 2000.
