Rj: Cops rescue 29-year-old kidnapped woman

A 29-year-old woman, who had been kidnapped for ransom, was rescued last night, the police said today.
Two persons named Jamil and Subhan, both hailing from Bihar, were also arrested in connection with the case, a police official said.
According to the police, the accused had demanded Rs 5 lakh as ransom from the family members of the woman.
Following the ransom call, family members informed the police who began working on clues and arrested the accused late last night itself, officials claimed.
The woman had been locked at a house in sector-50 of the Mansarovar area here, a police official said.

Further investigation is on, said the official posted at the Mansarovar police station.
