The national executive decisions came after the day-long meeting of over 250 party leaders from 21 states at a posh hotel here in the state capital.
"I have been given the mandate by national executive to unify secular and social justice to overthrow communal and fascist forces from the Centre, as well as, checkmate them in their efforts of coming to power in Bihar," Prasad told reporters after the meeting.
"The condition of the country could be judged by the fact that a BJP leader and a retired judge called Mahatma Gandhi a British agent. This is the gravest insult to a person who taught the lesson of 'ahimsa' and led India to freedom," Prasad added.
Criticising BJP for not keeping its promises like bringing back black money, providing jobs to youths, checking inflation, providing better price to the farmers for their produce, the RJD leaders pointed out that the central government was not paying any attention to fight malnutrition among children or increasing its expenditure on social security schemes.
RJD leaders participating in the meet also highlighted that the party should focus on improving agriculture and the condition of farmers across the country, oppose Land Acquisition Bill brought by the Union Government, and go whole hog to eradicate poverty.
