Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Party (RKMP) chief Virendra Mohan Singh has said that his party will contest in 100 Assembly segments in Uttar Pradesh in the coming 2017 elections.
"These will be around 265 Assembly segments of the state which has sugarcane growing belt and the list of aspirants seeking party tickets will be declared by the end of November," he told PTI yesterday.
He also ruled out merger of his political outfit with any other party.
Earlier in the day, he addressed a public meeting in Kutubpur village here, where the party chief accused the Samajwadi Party and the centre of being anti farmer and cheating the farmers of the state.
