Rlys official arrested for taking bribe, sent to CBI custody

A senior Railways official was arrested for allegedly accepting bribe and sent to CBI custody today for 14 days.
ER Railways divisional mechanical engineer Prem Prakash was caught by CBI while accepting Rs 5,000 as bribe from a Group D staff of Railways at his official quarters here last night.
Group D staff Sanjay Kumar had been transferred to Bokaro but the official was not releasing him and demanded a bribe for it. Kumar had approached CBI who laid out a trap and arrested the official.
Prem Prakash was produced before a CBI court here which remanded him in custody of the investigating agency for 14 days.
