At least seven people were killed and several others injured today when a van skidded off a mountain in northwestern city of Pakistan.
The Kohistan-bound passenger van fell into a deep ravine near Bisham in mountainous Shangla district.
The van was on its way to Kohistan when it fell into a deep ravine while negotiating a sharp turn, police said.
As many as seven people were killed and several injured in the incident, they said.
Soon after the accident, rescue teams rushed to the area and shifted the dead bodies and injured to Bisham hospital.
Road accidents are common in Pakistan. Most of them are caused by rash driving and bad roads.
