The initiative aims at raising awareness among the public about the traffic rules.
The SSP appealed to the motorists to follow the traffic rules and help prevent fatal accidents.
"At Noida, the drivers have a habit of violating traffic rules. As they cross the Delhi border and enter Noida, several of them remove their seatbelts and helmets as if they do not have any fear of challans in Noida. Effective efforts are needed to change this mindset," said Dinesh Jain, patron, Noida Management Association.
"Besides holding traffic rules and road safety awareness workshops for the students, we have been motivating them to stop their parents whenever they violate traffic rules. At the parent teachers meeting too, we are motivating the parents to obey traffic rules," said Jasmine Gandhi, director, Billabong High International School.
The traffic police observes the road safety month in November every year and holds workshops at schools, colleges and community centres.
