Khan is also the local MLA of the area where Shahnawaz was allegedly beaten to death by a group of men. The meeting was also attended by home minister Jitender Singh Tomar.
During the meeting, victim's mother Noor Jahan told the chief minister that Shahnawaz always wished that you (Kejriwal) get relief from cough. And never expected to meet you (Kejriwal) in a situation like this, said an officer present during the meeting.
However, the family refused to demand any financial help or a government job.
