Acting on a tip off, the special operations group along with Bankata police arrested 14 members of the gang from Rampur Bujurg village late last night, Superintendent of Police L R Kumar said.
He said all the accused hail from Dhanupura village in Badaun district and gold and silver jewelleries was recovered from their possession.
The robbers looted two jewellers on Thursday night in Padari Bazar in Khaampar area, Kumar said.
Besides, he said, the gang was involved in 12 incidents of robbery in Bhatpaarani last month.
Kumar said that the gang has around 200 members, who were active in different parts of the country.
Further probes are on, they added.
