Robbers loot cash van, abandon it after finding 'no cash'

A cash van of a private bank was looted allegedly by unidentified men after shooting a security guard in Daurala area in the district today and the vehicle was abandoned in nearby forest when they found no cash in it.
The cash inside the van had been already loaded into the ATM before the loot, Daurala Circle Officer Brijesh Singh said here.
The guard identified as Deepak was admitted to a hospital and his condition was stated to be out of danger.
Efforts were on to nab the absconding accused, the CO added.
