Robbers loot Rs 2.5 cr in Khurja

Five car-borne robbers waylaid a cashier of a meat trader at Khurja town here and allegedly lotted him of Rs 2.5 crore in cash, police said here today.
The cashier was also fired upon by the bandits and injured. He was going in his car to deposit the cash in a bank.
According to SP (Rural) Pankaj Pandey the car of the meat trader was intercepted by the bandits and it too was snatched away.
The police party was chasing the robbers and soon they would be arrested, the SP added.
