Robbers loot Rs 25 lakh from factory's cashier

Four armed robbers allegedly looted cash amounting to Rs 25 lakh from the cashier of a factory, near Dhingsara village here today, police said.
Cashier Anil Kumar was returning to his factory in a car after withdrawing cash from a private bank in Fatehabad, they said.
The robbers intercepted him, stopped the car and broke the window panes of the vehicle, police said. Later, they pointed a gun at the car's driver Vinod Kumar and asked the cashier to hand over the bag containing cash to them.
The cashier then handed over the bag to the robbers, who fled from the spot, they said.

A case had been registered against the unidentified robbers and further investigation is underway, said SP Sangita Kaliya.
