The 27-year-old actor is going to stay in a luxury pad at a lake in Toronto throughout July and August, reported Contactmusic.
"Rob is renting a house in Bloor West Village in Toronto for July and August. Rob needs time away from showbiz drama and loves having his family around him. They plan to spend their evenings in the garden drinking, listening to music and writing songs," a source said.
Pattinson is also said to be writing songs in a bid to work through his emotions after he called time on his romance for a second time.
