The 34-year old, who played for Dempo Sports Club from 2006 to 2011, has signed on dotted lines along with several other players including Shubhasis Roy Choudhary (GK), Laximikant Kattimani (GK), Godwin Franco, Clifford Miranda, Debarata Roy and ex-Mumbai FC midfielder Gabriel Fernandes.
The Brazilian, who won the National League titles under the tutelage of Armando Colaco at Dempo and became one of the most adored footballers in Goa said, "It will be great to be with Dempo (again). I am looking forward to win laurels for the club and also regain the I-League title which they have lost to Churchill Brothers,".
Dempo, who had an ordinary season this time, would be looking for a fresh start next year and Beto seemingly is part of that initiative.
