Robotic competition held in Bhopal

A robotic competition was held here toady by the Bhopal chapter of World Robot Olympiad (WRO) India.
The aim of the competition was to bring young minds together from all over the world to develop creativity, design and problem solving skills through robotics competitions.
The WRO India has been holding robotic competitions in the country for the students between the age group of 9 to 25 years since 2006, an official release said today.
In today's competition, held at Gyan Ganga International Academy, the "Team Robotic" comprising Vitul Modi, Vinay Sabnani and Pranav Hari Prakash bagged the first position in the elementary age group of 9-12. The coach of the team was Shailendra Nayak.
The second prize was won by "Team ROBOMECH" which included Divyaansh Rai Gandhi, Rishi Songirkar and Parth Kurmi. The team was coached by Puroshottam Shivhare.
As many as seven teams participated in the event, where six teams were from Bhopal region itself and one from Chhattisgarh, it said.
The teams were specifically trained by Robology, the Indian Robotic Academy, Bhopal, and Robogenius Academy, Raipur.
The winning team stands a chance to qualify for the final round of WRO, India, to be organised at Delhi, it added.
