The Rohini Court Bar Association (RCBA) said if the pass system is not implemented at the earliest, they would go on an indefinite strike from November 15 and will not participate in any judicial work.
"Executive Committee of RCBA condemned the act of violence in Rohini Court complex today. An ultimatum of 24 hours has been given to the authorities to start the security/ pass system for entry in the court complex, failing which the bar will go on an indefinite strike from November 15," advocate Rajbir Malik, the vice president of the RCBA, said.
"Our main concern is safety. There are lapses in the security. Scanning machines are not working here and there was no security personnel at the gate from where the shooter entered.
"Police says they are short of staff. We are ready to cooperate in any manner. We are also ready to show our ID cards at the time of entry in the court premises," Malik said.

The victim, Vinod alias Balle, was being taken to the lock up after being produced before the concerned judge by the staff of Third Battalion in Rohini Court, said Rishi Pal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini).
While he was being taken back, he was shot at by an assailant at 11.20 AM. The accused was arrested from the spot and the weapon of offence seized, he said.
It is suspected that the accused posed as a litigant.
This is the second such incident near the court complex this year. In April, a 38-year-old undertrial was shot dead there.
