I am pleased to share ideas with the citys entrepreneurs in advance of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), Consul for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, US Consulate General, Chennai, Lauren Lovelace said.
Lovelace, who moderated the discussions with the city entrepreneurs in a bid to attract them for the GES, said Coimbatore was a dynamic city that boasts of a longstanding and ongoing commitment to innovation.
Startup founders, women entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders in the city's entrepreneurial ecosystem participated in the round table discussion, which was joined virtually by a delegation from the University of Toledo in Ohio.
The event was part of a slate of programmes planned by the U.S. mission in India leading up to the GES, the pre-eminent annual gathering of emerging entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from around the world.
The US and India will co-host the 3-day GES 2017 from November 28.
