Royal Bengal Tiger's carcass found in Orang

The carcass of a Royal Bengal Tiger, suspected to have been poisoned, was found in Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park in Assam.
The carcass of the ten-year old female tiger was found near Panchnoi post of the Park yesterday by forest guards following a foul smell emanating from the area during patrolling, Park officials said today.
Earlier on February nine, another carcass of a five- year old tiger was found from the Park.
Park officials claim that the tiger died a few days ago and the exact cause of the death could be ascertained only after a postmortem was conducted though local people suspect it to be a case of poisoning.

There are about 20 tigers in 78.81 sq km Park where two rhinos have also been killed by poachers during the last two months of the current year.
