Royal Orchid Hotels forays into Tamil Nadu

Hospitality service provider Royal Orchid Hotels today announced its foray into Tamil Nadu with the setting up of a hotel here.
The Regenta Central Deccan, Chennai, has 93 rooms on nine floors, three restaurants, including a roof-top eatery, and a lounge bar.
Royal Orchid currently has 36 hotels in the country and Africa.
As per the deal with Deccan Park Ltd, owners of Regenta Central Deccan, Royal Orchid would manage the operations of the hotel, located at Royapettah High Road, Chennai, a company statement said.
"As we embark on the expansion drive, we are very particular in identifying strategic, high value markets. We are in a consolidation mode and are looking at expanding through management contract route," Royal Orchid Hotels Executive Director Shekhar Bhargava said.
"We are extremely happy to be partnering with Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. With their vast experience, we are sure that our hotel will benefit hugely in terms of revenue," Deccan Park Director Nirmal Anraj Gadiya said.
