Naoba Singh, the highly promising Tata Football Academy cadet from Manipur played for Delhi Dynamos in the recently concluded Hero ISL before joining Royal Wahingdoh, while Gobin Singh moved in from Pune FC.
The Santosh Kashyap coached Royals are on top of the table with three back-to-back wins.
"We have retained maximum of our second division players believing in their effort and capabilities. However, our defense line is a concern as the I-League is being held in a more compact manner from a the perspective of timeline," Royal Wahingdoh chairman Dominic Sutnga told reporters here.
Having defeated their city rival Shillong Lajong FC, Salgaogar and Bharat FC, the newest entrant to the top flight football in India are set to add more to the list considering the passion and dedication of the players and the team.
The likes of Jackiechand Singh who has been the star of the show for Royal Wahingdoh FC, their midfield attacking stars Seityasen Singh and Densil Theobald made perfect combinations to deepen injury on their rivals.
The team is, however, wary of Bengaluru's capabilities too given the fact they were the defending champions last I-League season and the recently concluded Federation Cup.
"This will be the biggest challenge for the team. From a layman's perspective, it will be like an epic 'David-Goliath' clash and we look forward to it," team general manager P Nicholas Jyrwa said.
The team also released their official anthem titled 'dare to dream' earlier today.
