The district court directed the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to issue 72 hours' notice to Nissar Khatri's parents for their custodial interrogation in connection with the Banganga dam scam case.
Fateh Mohmmad Abdulla Khatri and Jaitun Fateh Mohmmad Khatri, who are Nissar Khatri's parents as well as partners in FA Enterprises and FA Constructions which constructed the dam in Pen area of Raigadh district, had filed an anticipatory bail in the court of special Judge V V Bambarde.
Nissar Khatri is the main partner in the construction firm which constructed the dam. He was the first to be arrested in the case and he is now in judicial custody.
Two of Nissar Khatri's brothers were also arrested subsequently and they are in judicial custody at present.
The ACB in its submission by DYSP Sunil Kalgutkar opposed the anticipatory bail plea by the duo.
He said that they were partners in the firm and big cash amounts were withdrawn and there were also hawala transactions.

Public prosecutor Sanjay Londhe opposed their anticipatory bail even as DYSP Sunil Kalgutkar informed the court that the partnership firm had more than 40 accounts which have to be examined thoroughly.
He reiterated that when the firm's turnover was merely Rs 16 crore, records were cooked up to show that its turnover was Rs 125 crore in order to bag the contract, due to which even the chartered accountant of the firm had disowned the certificate presented by the firm.
The applicants may tamper vital records if they are granted bail and hence their bail plea should not be entertained, he told the court.
However, advocate Subhash Jha, who appeared for the bail plea applicants, told the court that the duo had no role in the entire "so-called scam.
