Rs 1.15 crore cash robbed on Noida Expressway

Armed men allegedly stopped a car on Noida Expressway and robbed Rs 1.15 crore from a trader's cashier, police said today.
Bareilly resident Shailesh Aggarwal had sent his cashier Mohan Bhatt and driver Ibrahim to deliver consignment of silver to an Agra trader last night, police said.
After delivering the silver consignment, they were taking cash of Rs 1.15 crore for payment to Delhi trader via Yamuna Expressway, they said.
The robbers caught up with their car on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and forced them to halt the car, they said.
They took over the car at gun point and took them towards Surajpur, where they forced the duo to get out and and robbed the cash.
The duo have lodged FIR at sector 39 police station.
Police said manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits, but till late evening robbers were not traceable.
