A total of 113 persons have either died or went missing in calamity struck Uttarakhand, and an exgratia of Rs 10 lakh each would be provided to their kin, an official spokesman said.
Out of total ex-gratia grant, Rs 5 lakh would be given by Haryana government from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, he said.
Uttarakhand government has also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh, he said, adding that out of which, Rs 2 lakh would be met from the Prime Minister Relief Fund and Rs 1.50 lakh would be given from the National Disaster Response Fund.
Haryana government has extended all possible assistance to Uttarakhand and decided to adopt 25 villages for rehabilitation, the spokesman said.
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had earlier visited the calamity hit areas of Uttarakhand.
On Hooda's instructions, a control room had been set up in the hill state to help in the rescue and relief operations, he said.
