The gang members were wearing masks of popular actors, taking a cue from a recent Hindi movie, Amritsar SSP (Rural) Manmohan Singh said, adding this was first time the looters adopted such tactics in the district.
The looters, comprising more than two people, came in a white car and broke the ATM with the help of gas-cutters, he said.
After entering the kiosk, they sprayed some paste on all CCTV cameras, except one which they failed to notice.
"We are studying the CCTV footage and the criminals will be arrested soon," Singh said.
