Rs 19,900 cr allocated under State Plan in 3 years: JK Govt

Jammu and Kashmir government today said Rs 19,900 crore have been allocated to various sectors under State Plan during last three financial years.
Replying to a question by PDP member Choudhary Zulfikar Ali in the state Assembly today, Minister for Labour Employment, Ajay Sadhotra said that Rs 19,900 crore have been allocated to various sectors under State Plan during last three fiscals.
The minister further said that Rs 6,000 crore was allocated during the 2010-11, Rs 6,600 crore during 2011-12 and Rs 7,300 crore during 2012-13 to various sectors under the State Plan.
He said the State sector funds are allocated sector-wise and not district or constituency wise as the benefits of the investments of the State sector funds are not confined to a particular district but are available to the State as a whole.
The Minister said that an additional fund to the tune of Rs 2.39 crore was released during last two financial years to district Rajouri under district sector. He said Rs 5.16 crore was also released under Bad Pocket Initiative to the district during last three fiscals for different development works.
The Minister further said that as many as 149 decisions were taken in District Development Boards (DDBs) meeting of Rajouri since 2009-10, against which 88 decisions have been implemented and 61 are under implementation.
