Contemporary artists from the country under the age of 40 years are now eligible to receive a grant of Rs. 2 lakh to help them develop a body of works.

The awardee would be selected via a pool of nominations received from members of the art community. The nominees are expected to make a formal proposal to FICA about a work or body of works they wish to produce.
The final recipient of the award is scheduled to be announced in January 2016.
