The construction of 1,869-km long roads in the state was completed at a cost of Rs 12,000 crore and work on an additional 1,243-km is underway, he said in a function here.
On the occasion, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot dedicated three under-passes connecting various colonies of Prithviraj Nagar scheme with Vaishali Nagar and other areas.
The state government has taken the decision to regularise Prithviraj Nagar scheme and the development of the colonies under the project will take place shortly, he said.
The CM also highlighted flagship programmes of the state government and said that efforts have also been made for the strengthening of road network in Rajasthan.
Gehlot asked the Union government to announce more national highways in the state.
