The department of Forest and Tourism had taken up the works, which included setting up of an herbarium, shopping arcade and tree-top cottages on the hills, whose peak altitude is about 1,000 metres, officials said.
Forest Officer Satish said the works would be completed in another two months.
He said four teams of local tribals had been roped in to provide sustainable facilities to the tourists.
Artificial waterfalls and a walking track were also being set up, Tourist Officer Ranga Vittal said.
