Rs 90 lakh crown offered to Lord Venkateswara

A devotee from Coimbatore in Tamil Naidu today made an offering of a diamond-studded crown at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara near here.
A temple official told PTI that the devotee, who did not want to be identified, along with his wife handed over the offering worth about Rs 90 lakh to temple officials this morning.
The offering would be adorned on the processional idol at the shrine, the official said.
