Srujani Creativity Scheme being implemented by the Steel Plant is based on the basic premise that the employees are the best persons to bring about improvements in the area in which they are working.
Hence they are motivated to think creatively about improving the systems and enhancing the performance of their respective units. For this they are being given awards in cash as well as token gifts, RSP sources said today.
The Plant on the other hand earns rich dividends by implementing these suggestions. It becomes a total win-win situation for both the organization and the employees. It is noteworthy that since its institution in 1989-90, the Srujani - Creativity Award Scheme has harnessed the creative potential of the employees in improving the performance of the plant in every field of endeavour right from production, productivity, techno-economics and streamlining of systems to safety, housekeeping and environment protection.
