Accusing the ruling CPI(M) of vandalising its office in Kerala, the RSS today alleged that a group of armed workers of the Left party attacked its premises and destroyed property.
Barely a day after the inauguration of Keshav Smriti Sevalay (RSS office) in Perunthattil in Kannur, the CPI(M) miscreants attacked the property, the RSS said.
Claiming that Perunthattil is a CPI(M) stronghold where other outfits are not allowed to undertake any political or cultural activity, the RSS in a statement said that its office has been attacked over 18 times since its foundation stone was laid.
Demanding that the culprits should be brought to justice at the earliest, it said that the CPI(M) national leadership should show the courage to own up the crimes committed by their cadres and urge the state unit to shed violence.
The civil society should raise its voice against the violence perpetrated by CPM cadres in Kerala as the state descends into total mayhem and anarchy, RSS said.
