The marathon 'Manthan Baithak' of RSS today focused on coordination between the Sangh and its affiliated organisations, including the BJP, but no political discussion was held on the second day of the four-day meet.
"The main focus of the meeting, which was attended by the office bearers of Sangh and its affiliated organisations, was coordination at all levels from top to bottom," a senior RSS functionary told PTI.
The functionary, however, said there was no political discussion at the meeting.
He said RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at the brainstorming session guided the workers to ensure better coordination among the organisations.
"This meeting, which is held once in a year, started yesterday," he said.
The functionary said an important subject which came up during the meeting was that the number of dedicated workers should be increased.

"A subject came up that the number of dedicated workers should be increased and more attention should be paid on training and the quality of functioning. It was raised that these workers should concentrate wholly on the organisations, though no concrete discussion was held on it," he said.
The functionary said reports were submitted and information exchanged about activities of the organisations in the past one year.
"Future programmes of all organisations were discussed. This ensures that dates do not clash. For instance, if an organisation has decided a date for its programme, it should not clash with others," he said.
"We also get the guidance of RSS chief on how to function, what has been done so far and what needs to be done," he said.
After the meeting, a senior state BJP leader said that there was no political discussion at the meeting and they participated as 'swayamsevaks'.
