A three-day annual meeting of regional pracharaks of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) will take place at Somnath in Gir-Somnath district of Gujarat from July 15 to July 17.
Senior RSS functionaries including the organisation's chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi will attend the meeting, which is aimed at discussion and review of organisational activities and issues, an RSS release said here.
Bhagwat and Joshi will be in Somnath from July 12 to July 18 to hold discussions with other RSS leaders before and after the pracharak meet, the release said.
Bhagwat will take part in 'Aarti' at the Somnath temple on July 12.
Gujarat RSS spokesperson Vijay Thaker denied that the meeting had anything to do with the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
"This is a routine meeting of prant pracharaks from across the country held in July every year. No political or even social issues are discussed during such meetings," said Thaker.
