The ACB, on September 19 last year, had caught red-handed assistant motor vehicle inspector Dugni Venkateshwarlu while taking a bribe. This was followed by searches at his and relatives' residences.
A case of possessing disproportionate assets was registered against him yesterday, an ACB release said.
He allegedly possesses four houses, three cars, Rs 13 lakh in fixed deposits, Rs 74 lakh in bank, 2 kg of gold jewellery, silver articles worth about Rs 32 lakh.
