"If the dispensation had no knowledge about such a gigantic, horrific activity, then we may ask whether there is any government worth the name in UP," Rudy said while referring to the "illegal activities" of Ram Vrikh Yadav under the name of 'Vidhik Vaicharik Kranti Satyagrah'.
Activists of the organisation last week indulged in widespread violence, including firing, in Mathura when police tried to evict them from large tracts of government land which they had been occupying for over two years.
He underlined that a thorough impartial probe is inevitable in view of the seriousness of the issue.
Rudy, an MP from Bihar, also attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his "new allies" over the law and order situation, saying "now Jungle Raj exists" in the state.
