Ruhi, who represented India at Miss Universal Peace and Humanity, won the crown beating competitiors from 145 other countries and is also the first person from India to win this title.
"I am ecstatic. This still seems like a dream to me. I am waiting to reach India and share this joy with my loved ones. I am grateful to the entire team of Miss India Organization for giving me this opportunity to make my country proud," Ruhi, who looked gorgeous in a Komal Sood gown, said in a statement post her win.
She was also seen competing for various sub-titles like Miss Photogenic, Miss Best Evening Gown, Miss People Choice, Miss Talent and Miss Best Costume.
A team of panellists and experts from the industry contributed towards her preparatioin with names like Ritu Kumar, Jamuna Pai, Komal Sood, Esha Amiin, Leon, Samir Purohit & Namrata Purohit and Marvie Ann Beck helped Ruhi prepare for the event.

The Miss Universal Peace & Humanity 2014 has been conceptualized by the World Peace Mission Organization under the patronage of the International Human Rights Commission.
