Russell dismissed Kedar Jadhav (42), captain Yuvraj Singh (52), Naman Ojha (0) and Yusuf Pathan (0) in the first four deliveries of the penultimate over but it turned out to be too late in the day as India A had by then reached near 200.
Yuvraj continued with his fine touch with the bat in his comeback bid as he top-scored with a superb 35-ball 52 which was studded with four boundaries and three sixes after the home side opted to bat at the M Chainnaswany Stadium.
Yuvraj put on a handy 80-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Jadhav, capitalising on a good start given by Uthappa and Chand for the first wicket. The opening duo put on 74 runs in 6.4 overs before they were separated.
Yuvraj was merciless against the wayward bowling by West Indies bowlers by playing shots at will before edging Russell to West Indies A captain Kieran Powell at midwicket.

Jhadav, who was sent into bat ahead of Yusuf Pathan, did not disappoint his captain. At initial stages, Jadhav even outscored Yuvraj. He was a treat to watch, plundering runs with his lofted and ground shots.
Other wicket-takers for West Indies were Ashley Nurse (2 for 18) and Veerasammy Permaul (1 for 35).
Electing to bat, India got off to an excellent start as Uthappa and Chand, who looked out of sorts in the ODI series, played their innings in a positive frame of mind.
The duo matched each other in every stroke they played and were not not afraid to take the aerial route. They were severe to anything pitching short and smashed the wayward Russel, Nikita Miller and Ronsford Beaton for boundaries.
