S Africa's Barcelos to open over 20 outlets in India in 5 yrs

South African casual dining restaurant chain, Barcelos will open more than 20 outlets in ten metro cities in India in the next 5 years.
The restaurant chain is foraying in India with its first outlet in Delhi in February.
"The company sees India as one of the biggest opportunities to establish and expand its brand. Barcelos will have its presence in 10 metro cities of the country with more than 20 outlets in the next 5 years," Barcelos said in a statement.
Commenting on the launch, Barcelos GM Operations Rohit Malhotra said: "We are very confident that with a combination of superior service from South Africa with the blend of peri-peri flavors, we will bring to the Indian customer, a world-class casual dining experience."

He further said: "With a growing awareness towards tasteful yet healthy dining, we at Barcelos, aim to focus on the health and nutritional aspects of food, apart from the tastes and flavors."
Barcelos has presence in 17 countries at present with 120 outlets.
