S C Garg appointed Alternate Governor on ADB board

The government has appointed Economic Affairs Secretary S C Garg as Alternate Governor on the Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The appointment comes into effect from July 12, 2017, an official statement said.
Garg has been appointed in place of Former Secretary Shaktikanta Das, it said.
