S Ganesh Mani joins Hyundai Motor as VP-Production

Hyundai Motor India today appointed S Ganesh Mani as Vice President-Production to steer the company's manufacturing activities in the country.
Mani, who has been appointed with immediate effect, will report to Hyundai Motor India Managing Director Young Key Koo, the company said in a statement.
Prior to this, he served as Vice President Operations Control at Maruti Suzuki India where he worked for over 28 years and discharged several senior executive level responsibilities in manufacturing, strategy, operations, vector alignment etc.
An alumnus of The Institution of Engineers, Calcutta, Mani completed his post graduate degree in Business Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
Hyundai Motor has two manufacturing facilities in Sriperumbudur near Chennai, producing several cars including hatchback Eon, i10, Grand i10, premium hatchback i20, mid-size sedan Xcent, premium sedan Verna, Elantra and premium SUV Santa Fe.
The Korean carmaker company also exports to over 85 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Australia.
